Introduction

Hi everyone and welcome to Crafty Brian’s Blog and I want to thank you for stopping by.  I own Crocheting and Things Blog so I decided to create a new fresh blog with all kinds of new handmade projects which I made.  I mostly make afghans.  But you will see that I make other projects aside from just afghans. 

How I got into Crocheting

The first time I picked up a crochet hook and yarn was the year 2000 and I just moved back to the United States after living in Northern Ireland for 9 years.  An ex taught me the basics of crocheting but I eventually learned how to read patterns and went into advance crocheting, learning how to do other great things such as stuffed animals, cables and shells, crocodile stitching, flowers, and so on.  I was having so much fun and am grateful to know how to crochet that I had fell in love with this fun craft.  I had made so many beautiful projects over the years.
